FreeFireName does not ask you to register, and it never asks for your Free Fire account. This policy describes exactly what the site records when you use the name generator, what it does not record, and which third parties receive data when you visit. It applies to freefirename.com and took effect on 6 August 2026.
The short version
The site keeps counters, not profiles. When someone generates a name, we store the text that was typed and add one to a daily tally. That row contains no IP address, no account, no device identifier and nothing that ties it to you. Advertising and analytics are handled by Google, and that is where most tracking on this site actually happens.
What the name generator records
The generator sends the name you type to our server, which returns the styled variants. Three things are stored afterwards, all as daily aggregates:

These counters exist so the site can show what other players are generating and which styles are actually being copied. Because names are stored as plain text counters, please do not type anything private into the generator — treat it as a public text box, not a private one.
If you submit a nickname through a contribution form, that nickname is intended for publication and will be visible to other visitors.
How long any of this is kept
Generator counters are deleted automatically after 35 days. A maintenance job runs once a day and drops every row older than that window, for both the typed-name table and the styled-nickname table. Nothing is archived first — the rows are removed.

Published nicknames are the one thing with no expiry date, because they exist to be read. That is why removal is a request you can make at any time rather than a wait.
How your IP address is used
Your IP address is used to stop abuse, and it is not written into the name database. When the generator calls our server, the IP is hashed and used as a short-lived rate-limit key, and it is signed into a request token so the reply belongs to the request that asked for it. Neither the hash nor the token is kept in the tables described above.
Separately, the Wordfence security plugin does log IP addresses to block attacks and keep an audit trail. That is ordinary server security logging, it is retained by that plugin rather than used for marketing, and it applies to every visitor of every website that runs such a firewall.
What is stored in your browser
This site sets no cookies of its own. The only thing it writes to your browser is a single local-storage entry, ffn-theme, which remembers whether you chose the light or dark view. It contains a one-word value, it is not sent to our server, and clearing your browser storage removes it.

Third parties that receive data
Loading a page on this site means your browser also contacts these services, each of which receives your IP address and basic request information as a technical necessity:
- Google Analytics — measures which pages are visited and how the site performs.
- Google AdSense — serves the advertising that funds the site. Google may use cookies and similar technologies to select ads. You can review and change what Google uses through My Ad Center and read the terms in how Google uses data from partner sites.
- Cloudflare — sits in front of the site as a content delivery network and protects it from attacks.
- Wordfence — the security firewall described above.
We do not sell data, and we do not run any data broker, email list or retargeting pixel of our own.
What we never collect
- Your Free Fire account. No UID, no password, no login form, ever. Any page anywhere that asks for your game login in exchange for names or diamonds is a phishing attempt, and it is not us.
- No name, postal address or phone number — there is nowhere on this site to enter them.
- No account registration, because the site has no accounts.
- No payment details, because nothing here is for sale.
Children
This site is a general-audience reference and is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. Since the site collects no names, emails or account details from anyone, there is very little that could be collected — but if you believe a child has sent us personal information through the contact address, write to us and we will delete it.
Your choices and how to reach us
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to ask what data relates to you, to have it corrected, or to have it deleted. Because the counters described above hold no identifiers, we usually cannot connect any stored row to a specific person — which is a deliberate design choice, not an evasion.
What we can act on: removing a specific published nickname, or removing something a reader sent us. Ask through the contacts page and name the page it appears on. For requests aimed at Google’s advertising or analytics data, use the Google links above, since that data sits with Google rather than with us.
Our readers are mostly in India, with visitors from elsewhere. Wherever you are, the practical position is the same: we hold no account, no email address and no identifier for you, the generator counters erase themselves after 35 days, and anything published from a submission can be taken down on request. If a data-protection rule in your country gives you a right we have not described here, write to us and say which right you are exercising — we would rather answer a specific question than publish a list of regulations we cannot verify applies to you.
Changes to this policy
If what the site records changes, this page changes with it and the effective date at the top is updated. We will not quietly widen collection and leave an old policy in place.
